Rose absolute (Rose damascena) 大馬士革玫瑰原精
Rose Absolute is obtained from Rose concret by extraction using ethyl-alcohol. It is a viscous liquid with a deep, rich, sweet, exquisite and honey-like fragrance. The composition of the absolute contains rose oil components. The main one is phenyl-ethyl alcohol, about 70%, followed by citronellol, geranyllol and nerol. It is utilized mainly in the fine perfumery and less in cosmetics.
